Title: the Ellipse of Light
Description:
Coloured glass is installed at the south facade of the station. Sunlight projects the colours of the glass-applique onto the hall. This moving 'Ellipse of Light' is the essence of the project. The coloured light ellipse moves with time of day and day of year. The design was developed in close collaboration with architect Jan van Belkum.
